Disable Your Touchpad When Using a Mouse

How to disable touchpad when mouse is connected using Control Panel

Option 1:

  1. Open Control Panel.
  2. Click on Hardware and Sound.
  3. Under “Devices and Printers,” click on Mouse.
  4. On the “Device Settings” tab, select the “Disable internal pointing device when external USB pointing device is attached” option.

Option 2:

  1. Search “Touchpad Settings” from Contra.
  2. Click on “Touchpad” from Leftside list.
  3. Under “Related Settings,” click on “Additional Settings”.
  4. On the “Device Settings” tab, select the “Disable internal pointing device when external USB pointing device is attached” option
